Kate Serino, of Shavertown, has been named vice president of the Misericordia University chapter of the TriBeta National Biological Honor Society for the 2014-15 academic year.
Misericordia University students majoring in biology, biochemistry or clinical lab sciences are eligible for the TriBeta National Biological Honor Society after completing at least three semesters in the program and maintaining a minimum grade point average of 2.75 in the major’s courses for associate members and a 3.0 GPA for regular members.
Amanda Lazzeri, of Shavertown, has served as vice president of the Misericordia University chapter of the TriBeta National Biological Honor Society for the 2013-14 academic year.
Officers of the Misericordia University Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) National Biological Honor Society recently participated in an induction ceremony for 14 new TriBeta members during an induction ceremony in Sandy and Marlene Insalaco Hall.
