Anderson, 57, of 12 Jackson St., Dallas, and formerly of the Tunkhannock and Wyalusing areas, passed away unexpectedly at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, on Nov. 23, 2014. Ray is survived by his wife of five years, the former Debra L. Hizny Anderson, Dallas. Memorial services were held Nov. 29 from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church St., Wyalusing.

HANOVER TWP. — Robert Joseph Youngblood, 62, of Hanover Township, passed away Nov. 25, 2014, at his home. Surviving is his wife, the former Judy Zola, Hanover Township. He had family in Dallas and Shavertown. Funeral services were held Nov. 29 from the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown. A Mass of Christian Burial followed in St. Therese’s Church, Pioneer Avenue and Davis Street, Shavertown.

MEHOOPANY — Richard E. Hahn Jr., of Mehoopany, died at his home on Nov. 24, 2014. He was born in Tunkhannock. A celebration of Richard’s life was held Nov. 29 from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock.

HANOVER TWP. — Frank J. Cirko, 66, of Tomko Avenue, Hanover Township, passed away Nov. 24, 2014, at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. He had family in Harveys Lake. KINGSTON — Gertrude Saffian, 93, of Kingston and formerly of Dallas, died Nov. 25, 2014, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Funeral service was held Nov. 30 at the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel Inc., 348 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre. Shiva was observed at the Woodlands Inn and Resort, Wilkes-Barre.

DALLAS — Kevin Michael Clarke, 61, of Dallas, passed away Nov. 28, 2014, at his residence. Surviving is his wife, the former Bonnie Ryman. Funeral was held Dec. 1 at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.

DALLAS — Madelyn M. Brennan, of Dallas and formerly of Kingston, passed away on Nov. 27, 2014, following a brief admission to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. On Dec. 28, 1944, she married her beloved, James Brennan, who died Sept. 16, 1975. Funeral was held Dec. 1 from the Hugh P. Boyle & Son Funeral Home Inc., 416 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese’s Church, Davis Street, Shavertown.

DALLAS — Michael W. Parsons, 75, of Dallas, husband of Nancy Cole Parsons, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 26, 2014, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Dec. 1 in Gate of Heaven Church, 40 Machell Ave., Dallas.

WILKES-BARRE — Mrs. Irene R. Dwojewski, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Nov. 29, 2014, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph, on June 6, 2006. She had family in Shavertown. Funeral services were held Dec. 2 from the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre.

BEAUMONT — Cosima “Mimi” Hubbell, of Beaumont, Monroe Township, passed away on Nov. 25, 2014, at the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas. Preceding her in death was her husband, Cecil, in 1988. She had family in Harveys Lake. Funeral services were held Dec. 3 in the Nulton-Kopcza Funeral Home, 5749 state Route 309, Beaumont, Monroe Township.

HARVEYS LAKE — Thomas K. Jones, 65, of Harveys Lake, passed away Nov. 28, 2014, at General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Surviving is his wife of 22 years, the former Annabelle Gines. Funeral services were held Dec. 3 from the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown.

NAGLE

DALLAS — Sister Helen Mary Nagle, RSM, 101, a member of the Mid-Atlantic Community of the Sisters of Mercy, died peacefully at Mercy Center, Dallas, on Nov. 29, 2014. She served as the director of library services at Misericordia University. The celebration of her life began with a prayer service on Dec. 2 in the Mercy Center Chapel, Dallas, followed by visiting hours and a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial was held Dec. 3 in the Sisters Cemetery at Mount Aloysius College, Cresson.

HARVEYS LAKE — Mary “Margaret” O’Boyle Purcell, 91, of Harveys Lake, passed away Nov. 29, 2014, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Purcell, who passed away in June of 2000. Funeral services were Dec. 3 from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake.

HARDING — Richard J. Wienckoski, 68, of Harding, passed away Nov. 29, 2014, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Janice Romanowski Wienckoski. He had family in Sweet Valley. Mass of Christian Burial was held Dec. 4 in Corpus Christi Parish, Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston. Arrangements were by the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 251 William Street, Pittston.

HANOVER TWP. — Irene Sivilich, of Hanover Township, formerly of the Hanover section of Nanticoke, went peacefully to meet the Lord, at home, on Nov. 30, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Michael Silivich, in 2012. She had family in Shavertown. Funeral services were held Dec. 3 from the Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home Inc., 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke.
