Scouts hike Valley Forge Historical Trail

Scouts from Troop 281, Dallas, recently hiked the Valley Forge Historical Trail in Valley Forge National Park. The Scouts hiked 9.1 miles through the historic park, visiting such places as the Washington Memorial Chapel, Washington’s Headquarters, Varnum’s and Huntington’s Quarters, The National Memorial Arch and the Valley Forge Museum and Visitors’ Center. They spent the weekend camping at the Valley Forge Scout Campground. All Scouts earned the Valley Forge Historical Trail Medal.
