Shadow was so anxious and hyper at the shelter, we were afraid no one would give him a chance. Thanks to a wonderful friend and volunteer, Shadow is currently in a foster home. Per his foster mom:

Shadow is a totally different dog here at my home. He listens, is so much more calm and loves to be loved. When anyone meets him, I’m sure they will fall in love with him and give him a chance. It will take a little time to work with him around other dogs but I see him very workable. He is so cute! Shadow is doing very well. I just can’t believe the difference having him here. He is sure of himself, listens better than my own dogs and is a big couch potato who loves attention. He lets me brush his teeth and sits most of the time on command. I think he would be best in a home without any other animals but if the other dog was submissive and not dominant, he could learn to adjust.
