ROAST BEEF DINNER
A roast beef dinner will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at the Northmoreland Twp. Fire Hall in Centermoreland.
Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $4 for the children udner the age or 12 and are available at the door. Eat in or take out.

DEMOCRATIC WOMEN’S
GROUP WILL MEET
The Democratic Women’s Group of the Back Mountain will meet for the first time at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27 in a lower level room of the Dallas American Legion, Memorial Highway.
Subsequent meetings will take place on the fourth Thursday of each month at the same venue.
The group, which is open to all Democratic women in the Greater Back Mountain and Wyoming Valley, will provide a platform for meeting and discussion for today’s Democratic women.
OSCAR NIGHT AT
THE MUSIC BOX
The Music Box Players will present “the Movie Musical: A Night at the Oscars” at 8 p.m. on Feb 28 and March 1 and at 3 p.m. on March 2 at the Music Box Dinner Playhouse, 196 Hughes St, Swoyersville.
An original musical conceived and directed by Dana Feigenblatt, the show includes famous Academy Award songs from the 1930s to the present. A $20 admission includes a spaghetti dinner and show served 90 minute before curtain.

The Music Box Players will hold auditions for “Urinetown: the Musical” from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 1 and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 2 at the Music Box dinner Playhouse, 196 Hughes St., Swoyersville.
All roles are available for a cast of 20 to 25, ages 15 and over. The show is directed by Dana Feigenblatt and musical director is Kim Crofchick. All who audition should bring a song of choice. An accompanist will be provided.
