TUNKHANNOCK — Evelyn M. Kristunas, 85, of Tunkhannock, died Tuesday morning, May 20, 2014, at the Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock. Funeral services was held May 23 at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock.


DALLAS — Evelyn Pearl Seward, 95, of Dallas, passed away May 19, 2014. Funeral services was held May 22 from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.


TRUCKSVILLE — Gary L. Steier, 69, of Trucksville, formerly of Clarks Summit, passed into heavenly rest on May 17, 2014, at Celtic Hospice, Wilkes-Barre, after courageously battling an illness for two years. His wife of 47 years is the former Nadia Sanchuk. In accordance with his wishes, Gary was cremated. A memorial service was held May 24 at the Neil W. Regan Funeral Home Inc., 1900 Pittston Ave., Scranton.


DALLAS TWP. — Thomas B. Brody, 69, of Dallas Township, passed away May 16, 2014, at home. He was born Aug. 30, 1944, in Wilkes-Barre, a son of the late Benjamin and Rose Sattof Brody. A memorial service was held May 25 in the Back Mountain Harvest Assembly of God Church, 340 Carverton Road, Trucksville. Arrangements entrusted to Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home Inc., Nanticoke.


TUNKHANNOCK — Everett D. Smith, 89, of Tunkhannock, passed away at the St. Luke’s Villa, Wilkes-Barre, on May 21, 2014. Funeral services were held May 31 from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock.


DALLAS — Mildred T. Zarambo, 85, of Dallas, passed away May 25, 2014. Private funeral services were at the convenience of family, entrusted to the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown.


KINGSTON — Dorothy A. Cooper, 85, of Kingston, passed away on May 23, 2014 at ManorCare Health Services, Kingston, after a brief illness. She was born in Lehman. Funeral was held May 30 from the Maher-Collins Funeral Home, 360 N. Maple Ave., Kingston, with a Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, Kingston.


HARRISBURG — Dane Michael Davis, the beloved 22-year old son of Keith and Maria Davis, Harrisburg, and brother of Derek was welcomed into heaven on May 25, 2014, while visiting with friends in Delaware. He had family in Dallas and Harveys Lake. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated May 30 in the Holy Name of Jesus Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg. Arrangements are by the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 6011 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg.
