Back Mountain rivals met in their Wyoming Valley Conference field hockey opener on Sept. 3.
Korri Wandel scored two goals while Miranda Moosic added a goal and three assists as Lake-Lehman won on its home field, under the lights, defeating Dallas, 5-1.
Calli Amadio’s unassisted goal 10 minutes into the game put Dallas ahead.
Wandel and Alysa Adams scored to put Lake-Lehman in front at halftime.
Taylor Alba and Wandel scored 37 seconds apart to break the game open before the midway point in the second half and Moosic added a late goal.
Kate Supey also had an assist for Lake-Lehman.
Tif Malinowski made two saves in the win. Rebecca Stout had 10 saves for Dallas.
Lake-Lehman got off to a 2-0 start as a Division 3 team in the WVC’s new four-division alignment for field hockey. It is grouped with GAR, Wyoming Area, Holy Redeemer, Nanticoke and Hanover Area.
Dallas is playing in Division 2 along with Crestwood, Berwick, Abington Heights and Tunkhannock.
