Kellys receive Harris Fellow Award

The Paul Harris Fellow Award, the most prestigious award of Rotary International, has been presented by the Wyoming Rotary to Yvonne Kelly and Mike Kelly of Dallas.

Yvonne has been a Rotary spouse for 18 years and has been involved with club projects, general fundraising and the winetasting tour chair/tour director. She has prepared food items for many of the club’s fundraising events. The award consists of a medallion, lapel pin and certificate in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations between the peoples of the world.”

Mike, a20-year member of the club, is the fourth member of the club to receive the second Paul Harris award. Before becoming a Rotarian, Mike was a Rotary RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) winner. He has been the chair of numerous fund raisers and is in charge of the annual St. Patrick’s Day party. The award consists of a pin with additional stones, corresponding to the recipients recognition amount level.

The Wyoming Rotary Club, in making the award’s donated $1000 to the Rotary Foundation for each award. The money is used to fund International and District Projects.
