TUNKHANNOCK — Donna R. Clark, of Tunkhannock, died on March 21, 2014, in the Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock, where she had been a guest for a short time. A memorial service was held March 29 from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock.

SOBIESKI

MONROE, N.J. – Genevieve (Stefanowicz) Sobieski, 82, of Monroe, died gracefully with her loving family by her side on March 22, 2014, at Care One in Wall, N.J. She was born in Harveys Lake. Visitation was March 26 and 27 at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Highway 9, Old Bridge, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1 St. Thomas Plaza, Old Bridge.

COLLINS

HARVEYS LAKE — Charles W. Collins, 92, of Harveys Lake, passed away March 23, 2014, at his home with his only daughter, Charlene, and his loving caregivers at his side. Celebration of Charles’ life with visitation and a funeral Mass were held March 31 in the Church of Our Lady of Victory at Harveys Lake. McLaughlin’s – The Family Funeral Service assisted Charles’ family with arrangements.

KOCHER

KUNKLE — Helene V. Kocher, 91, formerly of Kunkle, passed away March 25, 2014, at the Mercy Center, Dallas, where she resided for the last 10 years. She had family in Harveys Lake and Dallas. Funeral services were held March 28 from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.

STRISH

LARKSVILLE — Andrew “Skippy” Strish, funeral director, passed away March 26, 2014, after a lengthy illness. He had family in Shavertown. Calling hours were held March 28 at the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville.

REILLY

HANOVER TWP. — Terry Reilly, of Hanover Township, died March 27, 2014, with loving family at his side. He had family in Lehman. Funeral service was held March 31 from the Lehman Family Funeral Service Inc., 689 Hazle Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, St. Aloysius Church, corner of Division and Barney streets, Wilkes-Barre.

GORDON

DALLAS — Bernice Gordon, 93, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the Mercy Center, with her loving family by her side. She shared 68 years of marriage with her loving husband, the late Dr. Daniel Gordon. Graveside funeral services were held March 31 at Temple B’nai B’rith Cemetery, with Shiva observed at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Gary Nataupsky.

WILLIAMS

DALLAS — Sarah Williams, 96, formerly of Dallas, passed away March 29, 2014, at St. Luke’s Villa, Wilkes-Barre. Funeral services were April 2 from the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown.

CASEY

TRUCKSVILLE — Joseph J. Casey, 96, of Trucksville, passed away peacefully March 28, 2014, at Commonwealth Hospice Inpatient Unit at St. Luke’s Villa, Wilkes-Barre. In respect to Joe’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown.
