The Lake-Lehman Foundation (LLF) will host its annual “High Tea at Hayfield” from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 4 in the Hayfield House Ballroom on the Penn State Wilkes-Barre campus.

Guests of the Tea will enjoy a menu of finger sandwiches, homemade desserts, and a wide variety of teas and other beverages.

Outrageous will be at the event to feature its new spring line of jewelry and accessories. Proceeds from this sale will benefit the Lake-Lake-Lehman Scholarship Fund. Outrageous is a locally-owned boutique specializing in unique jewelry, accessories and gifts. The store, now located in downtown Wilkes-Barre, will return to the Back Mountain in May.

The event will also feature the much-anticipated basket and gift raffle, featuring gift certificates from Back Mountain and area businesses, as well as unique theme baskets donated by members of the community.

This year’s entertainment will be provided by Beyond Harmony, a 12-member female cappella group comprised of students of Misericordia University. Selections include favorites along with a medley of choral masterpieces from the Renaissance to the 21st century.

All proceeds from the event benefit scholarships offered by the Lake-Lehman Foundation, including the Lake-Lehman Foundation Scholarship, The Nicholas Drahus Jr. Memorial Scholarship, the John Peter Farrell Memorial Scholarship and the Knights of the Roundtable Scholarship.

The Lake-Lehman Foundation serves the Lake-Lehman School District and community through new and improved facilities, educational and community enrichment programs and scholarships.

For reservations, call the Lake-Lehman office at 570-255-2906 or email LLFoundation@lake-lehman.k12.pa.us.

Donations can also be made to any of the scholarships offered through the LLF at P.O. Box 38 Market Street, Lehman, PA 18627.
