After repeating as first-team Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 boys basketball all-stars, Pete Borum and Adam Dizbon will play for Lake-Lehman coach Brian Cutter one more time.

Borum and Dizbon were part of the WVC all-stars, as selected by conference coaches, and were also named to one of two teams that will play in the George P. Moses All-Star Classic, a boys and girls senior all-star doubleheader, April 4 at Holy Redeemer High School.

Tunkhannock’s Austin Yanora, who averaged 26.7 points per game, was named a Division 1 first-teamer.

Allen Fell, who led Dallas with 14.6 points, and Tunkhannock’s Sean Soltysiak, who averaged 14.1 points, were part of the second team.

Dallas placed Suk Mathon (13.2) and Chad DeBona (11.4) on the honorable mention list.

Borum averaged 16.2 points and Dizbon 15.0 for Lake-Lehman.

Dallas residents Brian Banas and John Kane, who helped Holy Redeemer finish second in the division, were also recognized. Banas, who averaged 13.2 points, made the second team.

Kane and Lake-Lehman’s Cody Paraschak received honorable mention.

The coaches have decided to move away from the East-West format of the boys all-star game. Instead, the teams are split to try to create the most even match-up possible.

Cutter and Holy Redeemer’s Paul Guido are coaching one team.

Borum Dizbon and Paraschak will all play on that team.

DeBona and Saltysiak were also picked for the game.
