Burak inducted

into society

Taylor Burak, of Shavertown, was recently inducted into Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society by the Techer Education Department at Misericordia University.

To be eligible for KDP membership, teacher education students at Misericordia University must be in their junior or senior year, have been on the dean’s list at least twice, have a current overall grade point average of at least 3.4, and been active in professional activities.

Shavertown student inducted

Ginger Kline-Yencha, of Shavertown, a student at King’s College, was recently inducted to the College’s Tau Pi Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society in education.

Honor society requirements include a minimum 3.4 grade point average (4.0 scale), a commitment to education as a career, and a professional attitude which assures the member’s steady growth in the field of education.

Barziloski is

club officer

Garrett Barziloski, of Tunkhannock, is among the students serving as officers of The University of Scranton’s more than 80 clubs and organizations for the 2014/2015 academic year.

Barziloski is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences and serves as president of the Gaming Club.

Two are team

members

Carson Ayers and Brandon Emmett, both of Tunkhannock, are members of the 2014-15 Mansfield University’s men’s track and field team.
