St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 474 Yalick Road (Route 118), Dallas, will host its Annual Summerfest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday July 26 with numerous events and activities throughout the day.
A blood drive will be coordinated by Geisinger Wyoming Valley Blood Center in honor of all cancer patients. A “Laps of Love” cancer walk will be held to benefit the patients of the Henry Cancer Center with registration beginning at 9:45 am.
The Hi-Lites Motor Club will have classic cars on display from 1 to 4 p.m. The Luzerne Co. SPCA will be on-site with information and animals available for adoption and members of the Franklin Twp. Fire Department will set up their “Smoke House” to demonstrate to children and adults how to escape from a house fire. The Dallas Township Police Department will also participate in this community event. Various other children’’s activities will also be available.
Those attending will have an opportunity to participate in a silent auction for themed baskets, purchase “goodies” at the bake sale and enjoy picnic-style food.
