PLAINS TWP. — Martin John Westawski, 75, of Plains Township, entered into eternal life on June 25, 2014, in the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, after being a patient for two weeks. Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth. He had family in Dallas. A memorial celebration of Marty’s life was held July 11 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church of St. Andre Bessette Parish.

KINGSTON — David Joseph Roberts, 81, of Kingston, died July 7, 2014, at Commonwealth Hospice Inpatient Unit at Regional Hospital, Scranton, following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, the former Joan Ann Bonner, the love his life, who passed away in 2009. He had family in Dallas.
