Timothy Dymond and John Giampietro, both of Dallas, were members of the first graduating class of the Misericordia University entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Samantha Lynn, of Tunkhannock, recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a double major. Lynn earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Industrial Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Service Design.
O’BRIEN ON DEAN’S LIST
Meghan O’Brien, of Dallas, a freshman Secondary Education-Mathematics major at York College of Pennsylvania, has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2013 semester.
To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.
TO DEAN’S LIST
Gavin Colley and James Proulx, both of Tunkhannock, have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2013 semester at Widener University in Chester.
Colley is a senior education major. Proulx is a freshman chemical engineering major
The Dean’s List recognizes full-time students who earned a grade point average of 3.50 and above for the semester.
Audrey Aristeo, of Trucksville, an eighth-grade student at the Dallas Middle School, had a novel, “Sacred to Me,” published as part of the National Novel Writing Month Competition held every November.
A copy of the book, which was written by Aristeo when she was in seventh grade, is in the Dallas Middle School Library.
The young author is currently working on her second book.
Jordan Mullen, of Dallas, has been named to the Dean’s List at Youngstown State University for the Fall 2013 semester. Mullen is majoring in Pre Engineering and Tech B at YSU.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.4 or better and take a minimum of 12 semester hours of credit.
