Dallas Baptist Church is hosting a time of prayer for men and women serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, many of whom are presently serving in harm’s way.

The prayer service will start at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2 and will be held under the big tent on the church property. An ice cream social will follow the hour of prayer.

Members of the community are encouraged and invited to bring the names (even photos) of loved ones currently serving in our Armed Forces. Those who are unable to attend but have the name/names of relatives currently serving are asked to contact the church office and leave a brief message with the information or email dallasbaptistchurch.org.

A voluntary love offering will be given to “Operation Heal our Patriots,” sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse.

Parking is available both on the church lot as well as the Idetown Fire Dept lot next door.
