DHS LifeSmarts team returns to national competition

Dallas High School students competed in the state LifeSmarts competition in February.

LifeSmarts is a national competition that challenges high school student’s knowledge in five areas: personal finance, health and safety, the environment, technology and consumer rights and responsibilities.

After qualifying for the state competition, Decklan Cerza, team captai, Samuel Reinert, Amber Habib, Sara Hudak and Lauren Hudak won the state competition. These students will represent Pennsylvania at the national competition at Walt Disney World.

Decklan, Samuel, Amber Habib and Sara Hudak will return to the national competition for the third straight year. They have finished third in the nation the past two years.
