YOUTH GROUP

PLANS BREAKFAST

A made-to-order breakfast sponsored by the Youth Group and Cross Roads Bible Study Group will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22 at River of Life Fellowship Church, 22 Outlet Road, Lehman.

Cost is $6 with advance registration and $7 at the door. Reservations can be made by calling 570-709-2342. This is a fund raising event to help raise money to refinish the gymnasium floor.

Breakfast choices are Two eggs, home fries, toast, choice of meat; homemade slow roasted corned beef hash, eggs, toast; three egg omelette with choice of meat and cheese, home fries, toast; plain or blueberry buttermilk pancakes; or French toast. Meat choices include bacon, ham or sausage.

SPAGHETTI DINNER

The Huntsville United Methodist Church, 1223 Huntsville Road, Shavertown will host a spaghetti dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 22. Take out or dine in dinners are available.

Dinner includes choice of spaghetti or ravioli and meatballs, salad and dinner roll. Cost is $8.50 for adults and 44 for children age 6 and under.

ELDER LAW

PROGRAM SET

The Social Justice Committee of St. Therese’s Parish Community in Shavertown will present a program on elder law as part of their Coffee and Conversation series at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 3 in Fr. Sammons Hall located in the basement of the church.

The program is free and open to the public.

FISHERMAN’S

BREAKFAST

A Fisherman’s Breakfast will be held from 6:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12 at Alderson UM Church, Harveys Lake.

Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, sasusage, all-you-can-eat pancakes and a beverage. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 years of age and under.

EGG HUNT

Fellowship Church’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 12 at the church, 45 Hildebrandt Road, Dallas.

In addition to the egg hunt, there will be games, crafts, contests and raffles.
