Meet Curt

First Posted: 5/1/2014

Curt is a 2-year-old Beagle mix. He was surrendered because his owners had to move. He is is loving, sweet and gentle, happy to see everyone, greeting them with an ever-wagging tail. Curt is sociable, brave and intelligent. He is excellent with children and generally good with other dogs, but because of his hunting instincts, should not be trusted with non-canine pets. He has a mind of his own. He is determined and watchful and requires patient, firm training. It is important you are his pack leader and that you provide the proper amount of mental and physical exercise, including daily pack walks, to avoid separation anxiety. With enough exercise, he will be calm. You can also purchase animal scents and play tracking games with him to help satisfy his instinct to track.
