The Back Mountain Swing Mid-Winter Dance will be held Saturday, Feb. 8 at the John Paul Center, formerly the Gate of Heaven Schooll, 40 Machell Ave., Dallas Borough, with host and instructor Christopher Carr.
Carr is offering swing dance lessons for beginners from 6 to 7 p.m. in the center. The dance is being held from 7 to10 p.m. A dance partner is not required to attend the event. Parking is available in the lot at the corner of Machell Avenue and Spring Street. The entrance to the facility is located in the back of the building.
There is a $7 per person fee for the dance and $3 for students with a valid college ID.
