The Back Mountain Memorial Library Auction season kicked off on June 2 with an auction kick-off dinner and mini auction. The evening began with cocktails and hors d’ouevres which were followed by dinner and a mini auction. The dinner was buffet-style and included a grilling station, featuring carved flat iron steak with horseradish sauce, Chicken Marsala and shrimp-encrusted cod with lemon sauce, a pasta station and a dessert station. Participants then had the opportunity to warm up their bidding skills at the mini auction that capped off the evening.
