The Noxen Voluntreer Volunteer Fire Company will hold a breakfast buffet from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, Sept. 28 at the fire hall on Stull Road.

The Annual Dallas High School Boys Soccer Club Fall Craft Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, Sept. 28 at Dallas High School, 2000 Conyngham Ave., Dallas.

A variety of crafts, vendors, delectable homemade foods, baked goods and refreshments will be featured. Admission is free.

Blue Chip benefit

A benefit for Blue Chip Animal Farms Refuge will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, Sept. 28 at Edward’s Garden Center, Forty Fort. The garden center will support the refuge by matching all donations up to $500.

The event will feature free face painting, a huge pumpkin contest and a free costume pet parade at 2 p.m. today with first, second and third-place prizes awarded. Blue Chip Farms will be present from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with animals to adopt.

The Economic Development Committee of the Back Mountain Chamber will present a breakfast event at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at Penn State Wilkes-Barre.

The event will feature a presentation by Ardy Wurtzel, research associate of the Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, who will provide national and regional information regarding the economy, inflation and the labor market.
