Brother and sister, Eight-year-old Matthias Ryder and his 7-year-old sister, Adele, are displaying their toy collections at the Back Mountain Memorial Library during the month of November.

Matthias, a third-grade student at Good Shepherd Academy, is displaying his Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, trucks and other vehicles. He has has been collecting these for five years after his Grandpa with his “old cars” got him started. He likes to play with his cars a lot and sometimes even plays football with 10 to 20 of them.

Adele, a second-grade student also attending Good Shepherd, is displaying her Raggedy Ann and Andy doll collection. She, too, has been collecting for about five years. Adele loves her dolls and plays with them. Her mom said Adele’s grandmother made some of the dolls which once belonged to her.

Matthias and Adele live in Forty Fort with their parents, George and Deani Ryder.
