The Anthracite Golf Association Junior Tour came to a conclusion Tuesday when 33 Division I players competed in the second round of the Tournament of Champions at Huntsville Golf Club.

The AGA Junior Tour features a Division I for players ages 15-18 and a Division II for players 10-14.

Division I players competed throughout the season in 18-hole events with their results giving them a chance to reach the 36-hole Tournament of Champions that was played Monday at Fox Hill Country Club and Tuesday at Huntsville.

The Division II tour ended a week earlier with the last of its nine-hole events.

Alexis Wyandt, of Dallas, qualified for the Tournament of Champions where she shot 101 at Fox Hill. Wyandt bounced back with a 90, tied for the third-best score in the six-player field, Tuesday at Huntsville to finish in fifth place in Division I girls.

Carbondale’s Chris Cerminaro repeated as the tour’s boys champion with a two-day total of 145 to beat Austin Renz of Danville by two shots.

Julia Santo from Hawley rallied on the second day to shoot 167 and beat Harding’s Madeline Wharton by three strokes for the girls title.

Wyandt was third in the final regular-season tournament July 21 when she shot a 91 at Elkview Country Club.

Logan Paczewski from Dallas used the final Division II event to post his fourth tour victory of the season. He shot 42 at Montrose Country Club July 22 to win by four shots.
