Teens from Fellowship Church of Dallas recently devoted a day off from school, to serving at Ruth’s Place in Wilkes-Barre.

Ruth’s Place provides shelter and case management services for women experiencing homelessness while honoring the dignity of each guest.

While at the center, the students and adult leaders cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen, organized the food pantry and supply closets, swept, vacuumed and mopped the floors, and completed office projects including folding flyers, stuffing envelope, and clipping coupons.

The group also presented the center with a check for $332 which was collected through student offerings at T.N.T. (Thursday Night Teens) over the past month and a half. They also presented the center with a large donation of coffee given by the Fellowship JAM ministry (Just Among Moms).
