KINGSTON TWP. — Mrs. Sophie (Dolhon) Metzo, 85, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, and currently a resident of Kingston Township, passed into eternal life on Good Friday, April 18, 2014, in the presence of her loving family at Manor Care, Second Avenue, Kingston, after a short illness. Memorial funeral services were private and at the convenience of the family, with arrangements by the John V. Morris Family Funeral Homes Inc., north Wilkes-Barre location.

WILKES-BARRE — Sophie R. Malys, 88, passed away Wednesday evening, April 23, 2014 at the Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre. She had family in Harveys Lake. DALLAS — Sister Magdala Wallace, RSM, 91, a member of the Mid-Atlantic Community of the Sisters of Mercy, died at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital on April 26, 2014. A prayer service was celebrated April 29 at Mercy Center, Dallas, with the Mass of Christian Burial celebrated on April 30.
