Faculty members at Misericordia University will celebrate the 90th anniversary of the institution of higher learning by hosting a panel discussion that will examine the issues of critical importance to the university’s founders and sponsors, the Religious Sisters of Mercy.

The panel discussion, “Critical Concerns of the Sisters of Mercy,” will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23 in Huntzinger and Alden Trust Rooms 218-219 of Sandy and Marlene Insalaco Hall. The event is free and the public is invited.

The panel will explore the issues of greatest concern to the sisters as they administer to the poor and disadvantaged around the world. The discussion will include how those concerns relate to the work of Misericordia University faculty.
