The Misericordia University Department of Student Activities Department will present “Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” as part of its Winter Movie Series at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23 in Lemmond Theater at Walsh Hall.

Admission is $1 for Misericordia students with a valid ID and $3 for the general public.

Misericordia University will hold an open house program on the Back Mountain campus for high school students and their parents on Saturday, March 29 beginning with registration at 9 a.m.

The program offers a tour of the more than 124-acre campus, meetings with Misericordia students, faculty and coaches, as well as information sessions with admissions and financial aid counselors.

The program begins with registration at 9 a.m. in the Anderson Sports and Health Center at the North Gate of the upper campus. A special “Meet the Coaches” session will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. The open house program will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The schedule includes refreshments, campus tours, a faculty session and lunch, and meetings with representatives of student services, athletics and financial aid. A session will also be held on the university’s Alternative Learner’s Project for students with learning disabilities.

The Department of Student Activities at Misericordia University will sponsor a concert for Spring Fest Weekend with the alternative rock band, We The Kings, headlining the show at 7 p. m. on Friday, April 25 in the Anderson Sports and Health Center at the North Gate of campus.

We The Kings is touring the country in support of its fourth album, “Somewhere Somehow,’’ which entered the Billboard Hot 200 at No. 44 – the highest debut in their career. The new album, released in December, has also reached No. 5 and No. 6, respectively on the U.S. Alternative Rock and U.S. Rock charts.

Tickets for Misericordia University students with a valid ID are $20 and all other tickets for the general admission concert are $25.
