Holiday wishes from library staff

The board of directors and staff of the Back Mountain Memorial Library wish everyone a very happy and healthy holiday season. It is because of you, whether a patron or volunteer or both, that the library has become such a vital resource in our Back Mountain community. We hope that you enjoy visiting us as much as we look forward to serving you.

The library’s Extravagant Holiday Sale has been extended (due to the receipt of new merchandise/holiday decorations) to continue throughout the month of December. Stop by and see the new additions and (shhh!) bargain prices.

The Slightly Read Bookshop of the Back Mountain Memorial Library is once again offering its annual holiday/Christmas book sale. All Christmas books, including fiction and non-fiction, are “buy one, get one half-price” for a limited time only. As all of the items in the Bookshop are in near-perfect condition and make great holiday gifts for your friends or for yourself. Keep cozy on those long winter nights.

The library will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 24 and Thursday, Dec. 25 to celebrate the Christmas holiday. The library will also be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 31 and Thursday, Jan. 1 to celebrate the New Year.

The Slightly Read Bookshop will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 24 to Saturday, Jan.3, 2015.
