The Dallas High School Boys Soccer Team Annual Spring Craft Show, with over 50 local and regional crafters selling handmade items, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, April 6 at the Dallas High School, 2000 Conyngham ave., Dallas.

Lunch and baked goods will be available for purchase.

Dallas High School will present the Stephen Schartz musical “Godspell” at 8 p.m. on April 11 and 12 and a 2 p.m. on April 13.

The cast recently had the opportunity to do audio taped interviews and perform musical numbers from the show for WVIA radio. This performance preview can be heard at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 6 on WVIA 89.9 FM.



The Dallas High School Lock-In Committee will host a special fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 12 at Susquehanna Brewery Company (SBC), 635 S. Main St., Pittston.

The pre-purchase of a $20 ticket ($25 at the door) will feature a sampling of SBC brews and brewery tour, refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages and live entertainment by The Revolution Band. Participants must be 21 years of age or older to attend.

Tickets can be purchased on or before April 9 by calling Terri Shaner at 570-406-7117. Only a limited number of tickets will be available at the door.



Evans Falls Elementary will hold its third annual Basket Bingo Saturday, April 12. Doors will open at 10 a.m. with the bingo beginning at 11 a.m.

Baskets include day trips, restaurant gift cards, passes to museums/aquariums, gifts, etc. There will also be a food sale, raffles, door prizes, etc.

Adult tickets are $20 for 20 3-face vertical bingo cards. Players under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. For tickets or more information, call Molly at 570-817-0262.


The Misericordia University National Occupational Therapy Honor Society Chapter, Pi Theta Epsilon, will hold a Classic Car Show from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 19 in the parking lot near the North Gate of campus off of Lake Streetto benefit programming for the local honor society chapter. Rain date is Saturday, April 26.

Food, music, 50/50 raffles and prizes will be offered at the event. Pre-registration fee is $10. The fee is $12 the day of the event.
