WEST WYOMING — Edward P. “Ned” Richards, 62, of West Wyoming, passed away Oct. 7, 2014, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He had family in Dallas. Funeral services were held Oct. 11 from the Metcalfe-Shaver-Kopcza Funeral Home Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Monica’s Parish, 363 W. Eighth St., West Wyoming.

SWOYERSVILLE — Michael Eugene Chocallo, of Milbre Street, Swoyersville, passed away on Oct. 8, 2014, at Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen. He had family in Lehman. Funeral was held Oct. 11 at the Lehman-Gregory Funeral Home Inc., 281 Chapel St., Swoyersville.

PISANO

DALLAS — Mary Joan Doran Pisano, 89, formerly of Dallas, died Oct. 4, 2014. Her husband, Anthony J. Pisano, died Sept. 7, 1983. Celebration of Mary’s life was held privately by her family. McLaughlin’s assisted Mary’s family with arrangements.

TUNKHANNOCK — Ralph W. Wysocki, 59, of Waterview Court, Tunkhannock, died Oct. 6, 2014, at home. Funeral service was held Oct. 11 at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Township.

STATE COLLEGE — Thomas George Brown III, 37, of State College, passed away Oct. 8, 2014, at the Hospital at University of Pennsylvania from ongoing health complications. He had family in Lehman and Shavertown. Funeral services were held Oct. 13 in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 474 Yalick Road, Dallas. Arrangements were by Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.

NAUGLE

KINGSTON — Katherine K. Naugle, 86, of Eley Street, Kingston, died on Oct. 10, 2014, at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas, where she was a guest. Preceding her in death was her husband of 50 years, Robert L. Naugle Sr., in 2004. She had family in Dallas. Funeral was held Oct. 14 at the Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ignatius Loyola Church, Kingston.

WYOMING — The world lost a beautiful woman and kind soul with the passing of Berdine R. Warner, 92, of Wyoming. She passed away peacefully on Oct. 8, 2014, at the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dallas. She had family in Dallas. A private memorial service will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were by Hugh P. Boyle & Son Funeral Home Inc., 416 Wyoming Ave., Kingston.

MELBOURNE, Fla. — George Bolcarovic passed away at his winter home in Florida. Surviving is his wife, the former Constance Yurak. He also had family in the Back Mountain. Mass of Christian Burial was held Oct. 17 in St. Francis Cabrini Church, Carverton.

WILKES-BARRE — Beverly J. Snee, 80, passed away on Oct. 13, 2014, in the Celtic Hospice at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre. Beverly and her husband, Keith M., would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on Oct. 20. She had family in Shavertown. Funeral services were held Oct. 16 in Oak Lawn Cemetery, 1250 S. Main St., Hanover Township. Arrangements were by the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre.

DALLAS — Leonard W. Bellas, 87, of Dallas, husband of the former Rose Umbra, passed away Oct. 14, 2014. Memorial Mass was held Oct. 17 in Gate of Heaven Church, 40 Machell Ave., Dallas. Arrangements are under the direction of the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown.

SHAVERTOWN — Beloved husband, father, grandfather, mentor and friend, Richard “Dick” Thomas Sr., 72, of Shavertown, after a long battle with cancer, has walked his final 12 steps to his Higher Power.
