Fourth-grade students from Dallas Elementary School worked with local sculptor Sean Brady on a memorial for Mrs. Arlene Besecker. The sculpture is a wire beehive which Mr. Brady made that will be mounted in the school library. The students worked on the bees which will accompany the beehive. Mrs. Besecker was a fourth-grade teacher at DES who lost her courageous 14-year battle with brain cancer in April. She referred to her students as “The Besecker Bees.”
