The Staff Council at Misericordia University recently conducted its annual Cereal Drive and collected more than 80 boxes of cereal for donation to the Domestic Violence Service Center in Wilkes-Barre.

The group placed collection boxes across campus and received donations from students, staff and faculty. Tammy Rodgers, volunteer/outreach coordinator for the Domestic Violence Service Center, visited the campus to thank the council members and receive the donations.

The Staff Council holds drives such as this throughout the year in support of the local community. The Community and Fiscal Committee of Staff Council coordinated the effort.
