TUNKHANNOCK — The 13th annual Christmas in Our Hometown was held Friday, Dec. 5 and Saturday, Dec. 6 in downtown Tunkhannock.
The holiday event included tree lighting ceremonies on both nights at Peoples Security Bank on Tioga Street, featuring a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Those in attendance were also treated to “Living Window” entertainment coordinated by Whipple Dance Studio, along with ice carvings, trolley rides, model train displays, wood carving, a free Christmas movie at the Dietrich Theater, horse and wagon rides along with strolling carolers.
The event was organized by the Tunkhannock Business and Professional Association.
