Cancer diagnosis and treatment have caused financial stress for cancer patient Rachel (Weidner) Davenport of Centermoreland.
As a single mother of two children, Breanna Weidner, 14, and Timmothy Davenport, 9, Davenport and her family are faced with overwhelming payments for hospital bills, travel expenses associated with treatment and other costs that are adding up quickly.
Northmoreland Township volunteer firefighters are coming to the aid of the family by hosting a benefit spaghetti dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 at the Northmoreland Volunteer Fire Departmetn, 1618 Demunds Road in Centermoreland.The Weidner Family owns and operates Centermoreland Grocery and Deli located near the fire company.
Cost for the spaghetti dinner is $8 for adults and $4 for children age 12 and under. For more information or to order takeouts, all Alan Weidner at 570-333-4598.
