BREAKFAST BUFFET

The Noxen Volunteer Fire Co. will hold a breakfast buffet from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, Jan. 19 at the fire hall on Stull Road in Noxen.

Ticket price is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12 years of age.

ROAST BEEF DINNER

A roast beef dinner will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at the Northmoreland Twp. Fire Hall in Centermoreland.

Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12 years of age and will be available at the door. Takeouts will also be available.

BINGO SLATED

Bingo will be held on Monday, Jan. 27 at the Northmoreland Twp. Fire Hall in Centermoreland. Doors open at 5 p.m. and early birds start at 6:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available.

The Music Box Players present Rodgers and Hammersteins’ classic musical, “The King and I,” Jan. 31, Feb. 1 and 2, 6-9 and 13-16 at the Music Box Dinner Playhouse, 196 Hughes St., Swoyersville.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with a buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m. and curtain at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. Doors open at 1 p.m. with a buffet dinner at 1:30 p.m. and curtain at 3 p.m. on Sundays.

FOOD PRESENTATION

“Enjoy Healthy Food,” a presentation by H&J Weinberg Food Bank, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30 at the Noxen Old School Community Center. There will be door prizes and free cook books.

The program is sponsored by the Pastor’s Food Pantry.

CONTRA DANCE

A New England Contra dance featuring music by the band “Unbowed” along with calling by Hilton Baxter will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Church of Christ Uniting, 776 Market St., Kingston.

No partner or previous experience is necessary. Admission to the dance is “pay what you wish.” A pot luck dinner will be held at 6 p.m.

CONSERVATION MIXER

Pheasants Forever Chapter 803 will hold its first-ever community conservation mixer on Saturday, March 8 at Appletree Terrace at Newberry Estate.

Participants will be able to obtain information on conservation projects and activities in the area and tell hunting stories. Thirteen loasl conservation organizations will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.

Cost of $20 per person includes food and drinks (beer, wine and soda). Tickets, which must be purchased in advance, may be obtained by calling 570-477-4668.
