ROUNDUP
The Noxen Volunteer Fire Company Rattlesnake Roundup will end today, June 22. Snakes will be displayed from 1 to 4 p.m. and fireworks will be displayed at 9:30 p.m.
BLUE CHIP FUNDRAISER
A rummage sale to benefit the Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, June 22 at the Flower Warehouse, Welles Street Warehouse Complex, Forty Fort.
TEEN HELP NEEDED
AT MEADOWS CENTER
Applications are now available for the Summer Teen Program at the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas. Teens can help with activities such as fishing, crafts, outdoor walks, manicures and more. Teens can also work on senior completion or community service requirements.
An orientation is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24 in the center’s multi-purpose room. Pre-registration is required. Volunteers must be at least 13 year old and receive a two-step TB screening, which can be performed at the Meadows, free of charge.

ROAST BEEF DINNER
A chicken and biscuits dinner will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25 at the Northmoreland Twp. Fire Hall in Centermoreland.
Tickets, available at the door, are $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12 years of age. Eat-in or take-out.

NITE AT THE RACES
The Music Box Players will sponsor a Nite at the Races at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 27 at the Music Box Dinner Playhouse, 196 Hughes St., Swoyersville.
Admission of $10. includes a horse placed in one of 10 races. Horse winners receive $50. Also included in the price are hot and cold food, refreshments, door prizes and more.

MEETS JULY 3
The Alzheimer’s Support Group will meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 3 in the board room at the Meadows Nursing & Rehab Center, 4 E. Center Hill Road, Dallas.
BENEFIT FOR RAE
A Benefit and Ride for Rae will be held from 11 a.m. to midnight on July 5 at the Idetown volunteer Fire Dept. Doors open at 11 a.m. All proceeds will benefit Rae Rosencrans, a 2-year-old girl from Trucksville who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis.
Cost is $25 for adults and $10 for children ages 5-12. There will be entertainment, food, desserts and beverages, a basket raffle, 50/50 raffle and door prizes.
Registration price for the Top Gunners LE MC Ride is $25 for riders and $15 for passenges which includes admission to the benefit.
