DALLAS — Josephine A. DiGiuseppe, 80, Dallas, passed away May 23, 2014, at Wilkes Barre General Hospital. Her husband of 42 years is Albert L. DiGiuseppe. Funeral was held May 31 from the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake.

HANOVER TWP. — Joan Golightly O’Day, of Hanover Township, passed away May 26, 2014, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. She had family in Dallas. DALLAS — Thomas J. Johns, of Dallas, passed away May 26, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Born July 8, 1932, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Joseph and Selma George Johns. LAFLIN — David P. Rowker, of Laflin, Jenkins Township, and Boca Raton, Florida, passed away on May 27, 2014, at Commonwealth Hospice of NEPA in Scranton. He had family in Tunkhannock. ALLENTOWN — Mary E. Flanley, 86, of Allentown, passed away on May 27, 2014, in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. Mary was the wife of the late Eugene M. Flanley Sr., who passed in 2008. She had family in Dallas. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated June 2 in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Allentown. PLYMOUTH — Mrs. Margaret Cunningham, 77, of Plymouth, died May 28, 2014, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Cunningham Sr., who passed away in January of 2010. She had family in Jackson Township. A funeral service was held May 30 at the William A. Reese Funeral Chapel, rear 56 Gaylord Ave., Plymouth.

WEST WYOMING — Joseph Francis S. Sokoloski, 73, of West Wyoming, passed away on May 29, 2014, at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, surrounded by his loving family. He had family in Tunkhannock, Dallas and Trucksville. DRUMS — Barbara Bloss, of Drums, passed away on May 29, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazelton. Barbara was born in Kingston on Nov. 4, 1942; a daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Zuba. She had family in Shavertown. A viewing was held June 1 at the Butler Chapel of Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home, 530 Butler Drive, Drums.

JENKINS TWP. — Priscilla R. Williams, 89, formerly of Shavertown, died on May 31, 2014, at The Wesley Village, Jenkins Township. She married Howard G. Williams, in 1973, and resided on Woodbine Road, Shavertown, among many wonderful and caring neighbors until Howard’s death. Funeral service was held June 3 from the Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort.

TUNKHANNOCK — David D. Santich, 71, of Tunkhannock, passed away unexpectedly May 31, 2014 in Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. Born in Duryea, Aug. 7, 1942, a son of the late Matthew and Palma Gnazzo Santich. Funeral services were held June 4 at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston.
