The Lake-Lehman Cadet Band recently performed at Kutztown University as part of the Music in the Parks Band Competition, garnering a 94.5, the highest score of the day, tied for the highest score the band has received in 10 years at the competition.
The Lake-Lehman Cadet Band is comprised of fifth and sixth-graders from Lehman-Jackson, Lake-Noxen and Ross elementary schools under the direction of Patrick Stanley, who has been directing the Cadet Band at Lake-Lehman for the past 12 years.
Fourteen Cadet Band students were nominated to participate in the PMEA District 9 Band Festival. Bobby Lugiano, Hayley Evans, Jason Eiden, Madison Chulick, McKenzie Apaliski and Jordan Stefanowicz were selected to perfom in the PMEA District Band Fest Concert at Blue Ridge High School on April 4.
