The Dallas Junior High cheerleaders started off their season with an amazing performance at the Pine Forest Cheer Camp.
The squad consists of 23 members in seventh and eighth grade with 19 members attending the four-day camp which ended with a competition where tThe girls received four of five first-place trophies. They placed first in the Extreme Dance Routine, first in the Time Out Cheer, first in the Game Time division and first as overall Middle School camp champs.
They were also extended an invitation to perform at this year’s Capital One Bowl in Florida.
Cheerleaders attending camp are Courtney Moss, Hannah Morgan, Sierra Loiselle, Samantha Dixon, Nora Malarkey, Captain Ashley Weinstein, Captain Gabrielle Sweeney, Captain Katie Zimmerman, Lauren Fassett, Liz Chamberlain, Rebekah Boback, Laura Timinski, Hailey Hiltabrandt, Sylvana Leo, Victoria Dent, Savannah Zimmerman, Ava Dettore, Isabella Green, and Morgan Bennett. The team is coached by Jenny Sorber.
