Baker representative

in Tunkhannock

Tom Yoniski, field representative for Senator Lisa Baker, will be available for consultation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at the Commissioners’ Office Conference Room inside the Wyoming County Courthouse, 1 Courthouse Square, Tunkhannock.

Roundtable meets

The Wyoming Valley Civil War Roundtable will have a program on Paranormal Activity at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9 at the Daddow-Isaacs American Legion, 730 Memorial Highway, Dallas.

Member Ed Dubil will present “Paranormal Civil War Activity at Fort Mifflin, Carlisle Barracks (Jeb Stuart’s raid) and at Sachs Bridge. This will be an electronic voice production.

Meet and greet

Auditions

Auditions for the Northeast PA premiere of “A Christmas Story,” will be held at 7 p.m. on Oct. 20 for children ages 8 to 13 and at 7 p.m. on Oct 21 for adults at the Music Box Dinner Playhouse, 196 Hughes St., Swoyersville.

Those who audition are asked to sing a song of choice and read from the script. The director is Debbie Zehner.

Performance dates are Dec 4 to 7, 11 to 14, and 18 to 21.

A roast beef dinner will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the Northmoreland Twp. Fire Hall in Centermoreland. Eat-in or take-out.
