TUNKHANNOCK — Charles F. Huffman Sr., of Tunkhannock, died at his home on July 17, 2014. Surviving is his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Gorsuch Huffman. Funeral services were held July 21 from Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock.

MESSICK

TUNKHANNOCK — Irwin E. Messick, 91, of Tunkhannock and formerly of Dallas, died July 18, 2014, at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Surviving is his wife, the former Helen Cole. Funeral was held July 21 from the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Hwy., Dallas.

EDMONDS, Wash. — Marvin Mead, 72, died July 12, 2014, in Edmonds. Marvin was born and lived most of his life in Dallas, and spent many years as an active member of the George M. Dallas Lodge No. 531 and the Irem Shrine. At his request, no services will be held. Instead, read a book, spend time with an old friend, take a walk in the woods — enjoy your life and the people with whom you share it.

PRINGLE — Elizabeth Ann Golightley, 81, of Pringle, passed away July 17, 2014, at Geisinger Inpatient Hospice. She had family in Dallas. A memorial service was held July 26 in Dallas Baptist Church, route 415, Dallas, with a luncheon which followed.

KOTCH

KINGSTON — On July 19 2014, the angels carried our mother, Florence Helen Patla Kotch, to her final reward. God saw her getting tired and a cure was not to be. She had family in Dallas. Funeral services were held July 23 from the Edwards and Russin Funeral Home, 717 Main St., Edwardsville, with requiem services in St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 93 Zerby Ave., Edwardsville.

CHOPYAK

DORRANCE TWP. — Anthony Chopyak, 46, of Dorrance Township, passed away suddenly on July 19, 2014, due to a motorcycle accident. He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne, and had family in Dallas. The funeral was July 24 from the Grontkowski Funeral Home P.C., 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Dorrance.

KINGSTON — Sarah “Sally” Bryant Zeske, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to be with her blessed Lord and only Savior on July 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Sr., and had family in Dallas. Viewing and services were held July 24 in the Green Street Baptist Chapel, 25 Green St., Edwardsville. Entombment services were held July 25 in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Arrangements were entrusted to the Edwards and Russin Funeral Home, Edwardsville.
