A concert of “Sacred and Slavic Folk Music” featuring young artists from the Bratislava State Observatory of Music, Slovakia, will be presented on Friday, March 16, by the Slovak Heritage Society of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Performance will begin at 7 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, South Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre. The concert is open to the public, and a good will offering will be taken.

Each of the artists have performed internationally and won numerous worldwide competitions.

Chairperson of the “Sacred and Slavic Folk Music” concernt is Michael Stretanski, of Kingston. The concert is presented through the World Artists Experiences in partnership with the Embasst of Slovakia in cooperation with the local heritage society.

The public is encouraged to attend the concert.
