Geisinger Health System will build a multispecialty clinic on Dorchester Drive, Dallas.
The project will cost $8 million and include a 17,000-square-foot building to house a new freestanding community practice. Among the services to be provided are family practice, pediatrics, women’s health, radiology, orthopedics and ultrasound, pharmacy and laboratory testing.
The new clinic will replace the existing one in the Dallas Shopping Center.
Ground will be broken for the project in March and construction is expected to be completed in late 2010 or early 2011.
Geisinger also will lease space in the new building to The John Heinz Institute of Rehabilitation for outpatient treatment.
