DALLAS TWP. – A popular Back Mountain restaurant will close its doors for the last time on New Year’s Eve.


Pickett’s Charge on East Center Hill Road is closing after 31 years of business, said Thomas Pickett, who owns the restaurant with his wife, Becky.

“I think I was burning out,” Thomas Pickett said. “After 40 some years in the restaurant business, it was time. I’ve already had that filling up thing where I’ve had to walk away. It’s kind of hard to talk about.”
