A new officer was recently appointed to the Township Police Department. Officer Robert Spencer was administered the oath by District Magistrate James Tupper. With the appointment of Officer Spencer, the Kingston Township Police Department is now fully staffed with 11 officers. A ceremonial oath of office was administered by Chairman of the Board Jeffrey K. Box at the Kingston Township Board of Supervisors regular meeting on October 14. From left, are David Brodhead, supervisor; Paul Sabol, supervisor; Chief of Police James Balavage, Officer Spencer, Jeffrey K. Box, chairman, board of supervisors; James Reino, vice-chair, board of supervisors; John Solinsky, supervisor/secretary; and Kathleen J. Sebastian, township manager.
