The Windsor Park Irish Teachers Festival held on Friday, Aug. 3, was a genuine celebration of friendship presented as a farewell gift to teachers from Ireland visiting America.
Dr. Tony Mussari and his wife, Kitch, hosted the event which was moved to the Banks Student Center at Misericordia University because of rain.
An evening of entertainment was provided by singer Erin Canedy, Carbondale; The Connemara Dancers, Ashley; St. Ignatius Contemporary Choir, Kingston; Singer/Songwriter Mike Lewis, Taylor; and The One Laugh Comedy Group, Dallas.
The visitors from Ireland got a look at American culture, language and lifestyle during a full evening of entertainment.
