Fifth juvenile justice commission panelist named

Another appointment has been made to the state’s Interbranch Commission on Juvenile Justice, which was created to investigate injustices suffered by juveniles that stood before two former Luzerne County judges and seek solutions to prevent future miscarriages of justice.

On Wednesday, Robert Mellow, acting as Democratic Leader in the Senate, appointed Lackawanna County District Magistrate James Gibbons to the commission.
