Former WVSA official pleads guilty

WILKES-BARRE — Karen Holly, a former district magisterial judge in West , pleaded guilty this morning to stealing more than $5,000 from the Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority, where she worked.

Holly, 51, of West Pittston, entered the plea before U.S. District Judge A. Richard Caputo at the Max Rosenn Federal Courthouse. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. Prosectutors say she stole the money from authority accounts from Jan. 13 to Feb. 25.
