LAKE TWP. – Two Dallas men are facing charges that they damaged lawns while driving stolen all-terrain vehicles, state police at Wyoming said.

Police said they file criminal mischief charges against Justin F. Traver, 19, of Shadybrook Lane, and Benjamin N. Thompson, 21, of Eleanor Drive.

Police said Traver and Thompson drove the stolen ATVs through random yards causing extensive damage to lawns to approximately 25 homes in several municipalities on Aug. 11 into Aug. 12. The charges filed by state police are for damage to four homes and a port-a-john in Lake Township.

Police recovered the ATVs from a pond on Sorbertown Hill Road in Lehman Township.
